Privacy policy

This site is operated by Grey Lantern Games (Nils F. Karlsson). It is a small studio site. We do not run advertising networks, and we do not sell personal data.
What this site does
Pages are static. Viewing them does not require an account. Contact is by email (hello@greylantern.games) or through third-party platforms linked from the site (Steam, itch.io, YouTube, and similar).
Local storage
The theme toggle stores a preference (`theme`) in your browser’s local storage so light or dark mode can persist between visits. That value stays on your device. We do not read it on a server.
Embedded video
Game pages can embed YouTube using the privacy-enhanced domain (`youtube-nocookie.com`). The embed uses a click-to-play facade: YouTube’s player and scripts load only after you choose to play. Once you play a video, YouTube may set cookies and process data under Google’s privacy policy.
Audio
Soundtrack playback uses audio files hosted with this site. Playback does not require a third-party music account.
Analytics and forms
There is no site analytics package and no contact form on this site at the time of writing. If that changes, this policy will be updated before those tools go live.
Hosting and logs
The host that serves greylantern.games may keep standard server or CDN logs (for example IP address, user agent, and requested URL) for security and reliability. Those logs are controlled by the host’s policies.

Links to stores and social platforms leave this site. Those services have their own privacy practices.
If you write to hello@greylantern.games, we use your message and address only to reply and handle the request. We do not add you to a marketing list from a casual email.
